What this site is
ScaledRecipe is built for home cooks, meal preppers, and anyone tired of doing kitchen math in their head. The whole point is to turn a recipe written for 4 servings into clean amounts for any number of people. No signup, no upsell, no popup begging for your email. You land, you use it, you leave.
What it is not
ScaledRecipe is not a recipe database, a nutrition tracker, or food safety guidance. We try to be honest about that on the homepage and across the blog so nobody gets the wrong impression.
Why we built it
The web is loud. Too many small tools try to grow into platforms. ScaledRecipe is the opposite: one job, done in a warm and kitchen-honest way, with a clean page that loads fast on a phone. We use it ourselves, and we built it because we kept wishing it existed.

How the site stays free
The tool stays free for everyone. To keep the lights on, the site may show advertising and we may add a small, optional paid version later if it ever makes sense. Ads never influence what the tool does or how it ranks results.
